Greetings friends and neighbors! May peace and grace be with you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! Friends we have hope through Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible says: Hebrews 6:18-20 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Friends we have hope through Jesus Christ that died
that we could have salvation and eternal life! Romans 5:1-8 Therefore being
justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By
whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice
in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations
also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and
experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed
abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were
yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for
a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even
dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.
Friends we have a better hope! Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect,
but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. Romans
8:24-25 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a
man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then
do we with patience wait for it.
Friends we are looking for that blessed hope as
Christians at the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ! Titus 2:13 Looking for
that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour
Jesus Christ; 1 Corinthians
15:51-58 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all
be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall
be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must
put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption,
and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass
the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is
thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the
strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast,
unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that
your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not
have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye
sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus
died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with
him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive
and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of
the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise
first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them
in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the
Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
In
conclusion: Friends we have a living hope through our Lord Jesus Christ! 1
Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which
according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by
the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance
incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for
you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be
revealed in the last time. Friends do you know Jesus Christ as Lord? You can
have hope through Jesus Christ today. Please trust Jesus for salvation today!
The Bible says: John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I
am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
