Praying for happiness for you in 2022

 Praying for happiness for you in 2022

Greeting friends and neighbors! This time of the year we start making New Year resolutions. Are we going to be better people or do better in 2022?  We as Christians feel we need to get closer to God than we ever have been before. In 2022 let’s try to be more excited about having compassion, making a difference and serving God.   Stress will come with life! BUT, If you deal with stress biblically it helps you to have a happier life. Remember, Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.  Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Friends, Think about good things! Philippians 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Friends, Delight in the Lord! Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

 Decide to trust God for wisdom, knowledge and spiritual understanding for all you future decisions in 2022! Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Colossians 1:9-11 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

            Friends, Discipline Yourself! 1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

            Friends, Deny Negativity! Philippians 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

In conclusion: As we focus on a new year let’s carefully and prayerfully ask ourselves these important questions and study what the Word of God has to say about them.  As we make our New Year’s resolutions for Christ let us ponder on the Lord’s Truth. The great thing about that is you can always ask God for help. The Bible says: Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Hebrews 4:14-16 (KJV)  Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
